Acrostic poem about Christmas

Festive lights are shining all around 

Excited elves are flying around the workshop 

Santa's reindeer are busy helping Santa deliver  the presents for Christmas 

Tinsel is wrapped around the big tree 

Icicle lights are wrapped around the outside of the house 

Vixen is making sure the reindeer's are okay and ready to fly in the dark sky 

Enjoyable eggnog is coming out of the kitchen 

  This is my Acrostic poem about Christmas. My word is Festive.

 Presents are shining under the bright tree

Entertaining elves are dancing around the floor  

Prancer was helping all of the reindeer's guide Santa sleigh 

Plum pudding is delicious to eat on Christmas day 

Elves are very helpful on Christmas day

Reindeer are flying around in the dark sky

My stocking has a big reindeer on it

In the north pole the elves are working very hard

Naughty kids will not get a present from Santa on Christmas 

Tinsel is wrapped all around the tree 

 This is my Christmas acrostic poem. I have used the word peppermint. I hope you like it.

Christmas Haiku

 Festive Tree Elves cookies milk happy merry peppermint red green white naughty nice family presents bright summer winter

5 words: The Grinch stole my tree!

7 words: My festive tree has a bright star.

5 words: My Christmas tree is bright.

8 words:The Elves love peppermint lattes on Christmas day.

 10 words: Rudolph's nose was shining bright in the dark starless sky.

8 words: Santa loves milk and cookies on Christmas day.

This is my Christmas Haiku. The top words are ideas we used for the haiku and then we made the poem hope you like it :) BYE!

Holidays!!!

 In the holidays I did so much fun stuff here is some of  my best Highlights

On Friday after school ended I went to burger king with Olivia, Anna-lee, Isabella, Jyrah, Joshua and Chloe .After we finished Anna-lee Isabella and I went to stay at Olivia's house. First we went and saw some baby goats then we went to hers played some tennis ate dinner then played outside for a little bit come inside watched a movie woke up and had pancakes. On  Wednesday I stayed at my friends house because it was mum and dads anniversary. We went swimming and went to the park it was really fun and we had Chinese for dinner.  The Friday after I had a family dinner at my uncles house it was really fun and the food was delicious. Then on Sunday I went to Hanmer springs with my friends. We met them there and it was raining so we played golf in the rain it was sooo much fun then it cleared so we did the maze and it started to rain again but it made it even better. We went to the cafe and had a burger and some brownie the went to the park and we got a call that one of the spots in the pools are free so we went there then had pizza dropped them of and my dad and I had to rush to our family dinner again we had dinner played outside and got home at 10:30 packed our lunches and got everything ready for school.

 Today for reading we got to pick out of five activities and I picked handwriting analysis we had to find out which writing is the same and which is not. We click on one from column A then from column B . Finger printing

 This week for reading we have been learning about crime scenes and fingerprints. Here are Anna-lees and my fingerprints. Last week we did a fingerprinting activity with a buddy and we read a big text about finger printing and some videos about how they do fingerprinting and how they figure out who's finger print it is. The top finger print is mine and the bottom one is Anna-lees. What do you think is different between our fingerprints?I think my finger print is a whorl and I think Anna-lees is a arch. What about you? What is your fingerprint.

Random act of kindness day

 Did you know that today is random act of kindness day.

Heres what I did for random act of kindness day . I baked a cake for my family it is delicious and my  sister really likes it.  I also made my mum banana bread and coffee for her while she was working.

 Today I baked delicious chocolate brownie with my Dad it is very simple and took only 10 minutes to put all the ingredients together and 25 minutes to bake here is a picture of what it looks like.

We have been focusing on our fluency when reading aloud by identifying punctuation.We have also been focusing on identifying key facts and using this in our follow up/create activities.

Anna-Lee and I created a News report about Deforestation. Did you know 20% of the worlds oxygen is produced by the Amazon forest.Also 28,000 species of animals are expected to become extinct in the next 25 years if deforestation continues.
